Country Music - Cledus T. Judd
Born Barry Poole on December 18, 1964, Cledus T. Judd was raised in Cartersville, Georgia. Making a living as a hairstylist, Poole sang two funny rap songs at an open mic night in an Atlanta nightclub, marking the end of Barry Poole and the beginning of his life as Cledus T. Judd. Judd is a comedienne singer who spoofs country songs. Judd has released seven albums, he has been joined by country artists like Toby Keith, Shania Twain, Alan Jackson, and Brad Paisley. Several of his humorous parodies have received radio play, including "I Love NASCAR", sung to the tune of Toby Keith's "I Love This Bar", and "Martie, Natalie, and Emily", Judd's response to the Dixie Chick's controversial statements against the country music industry. He started emceeing Brooks and Dunn's Neon Circus and Wild West Show in 2001, as well as hosting CMT's Most Wanted Live. Judd served as special correspondent for the talent show, Nashville Star, in 2005. His videos can be seen on GAC and Country Music Television.
