Hailed by People magazine as "The Sexiest Country Singer Alive", Kenny Chesney has won the hearts of his fans by giving them songs that relate to young life, love, and heartbreak. Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, on March 26, 1968, he graduated with a degree in advertising from 1991, and then drove to Nashville.

For three years, he tried to break into the business with little success, until 1992 when he landed a songwriter contract. As a songwriter, Kenny writes songs that evoke emotion, taking his fans back to the days of their youth, school, first loves and broken hearts.

His love for the islands is reflected in many of his songs like "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems" a smash hit and the title of his 2002 quadruple platinum album. "The Good Stuff" was the Billboard Country Single of the Year in 2002, and the Academy of Country Music's Top Single of the Year.

He followed that album in 2004 with "When the Sun Goes Down", which won him the title of CMA Entertainer of the Year, featuring hit after hit songs "I Go Back", "Keg in the Closet", "There Goes My Life", "Anything But Mine" and "Old Blue Chair".

Kenny's whirlwind marriage and annulment to actress RenŽe Zellweger in 2005 was the subject of many tabloid articles. Wearing his signature cowboy hat, Chesney continues to connect with his fans at sold out concerts across the country.
