Trace Adkins - Country Music
Trace Adkins' baritone voice is as big as the 6'6" man himself. Trace prides himself on producing songs that are different, each one relating to his life. Born in Louisiana in 1962, he learned guitar at a young age and got his start in gospel music.
Spending years employed as a pipe fitter in an off-shore oil rig and a construction worker, he relates to the working man. No one states it better than Trace himself "I record songs I can believe in and sing with conviction." After signing to Capitol Records, his 1996 debut album, Dreamin' Out Loud, launched his career with three hits: Every Light in the House, I Left Something Turned on at Home, and No Thinkin' Thing, which became his first number one chart topper.
His CD Coming on Strong was certified platinum, and Chrome has earned gold status. Whether he's singing rough and rowdy in a honky tonk, or smooth, sexy tunes at the Grand Ole Opry, where he's a member, Trace Adkins is as individual and unique as his music. He proudly states that no two shows are alike, and is fond of playing in beer joints and clubs as evidenced by his fun and catchy tune "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk".
