Tracy Byrd - Country Music

Growing up on country music in Vidor, Texas, country music star Tracy Byrd has hit the charts more than 30 times. T-Byrd, as he's known, dropped out of Southwest Texas State University to play music. Landing a record deal shortly after, he started kicking out hit songs. His second album "No Ordinary Man," was certified double platinum, containing four top-five hits, including the ballad "Keeper of the Stars" and the country rock of "Watermelon Crawl".

Byrd's first number one hit was "Holdin Heaven", and his second was the fun "Ten Rounds with Jose Cuervo". Songs like Watermelon Crawl, Drinkin Bone, and The Truth About Men have proven to the T-Byrd that his fans love fun, good time songs and he enjoys singing them. After many years on the road, he cut back on his concerts to spend family time with his wife, Michelle, and their three children at their home in Beaumont, Texas.

Byrd hosts the annual Tracy Byrd Homecoming Weekend in Beaumont and supports many charities. An avid outdoorsman, he hosts the Mossy Oak's Hunting the Country Show on TV and has appeared on numerous outdoor magazine covers. Tracy is also the author of a successful cookbook, Eat Like a Byrd, and in 2003 announced his own line of food products.
